In 2024 we have
distributed over
15,000 pounds of pet
food assistance to
low income pet
owners. We do this
monthly and all food
is donated.

We rescue at risk
animals from shelters
and directly from the
community.
Abandoned animals,
puppies and kittens
are our priority.

We are committed to
finding low cost or
free spay and neuter
resources for Lake
County residents.
We offer financial
assistance on a case
by case basis.

Pet Packs- Pet Food Assistance

As a nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on donations to operate.
Donations of pet food keep our program sustainable. In 2024, we have
sourced over 15,000 pounds of pet food for our no cost program. Follow
our Facebook page for information on how to sign up for assistance,
offered monthly, or email us if you need emergency assistance.

Did you know?

Financial hardship is one of the leading reasons people surrender their pets to shelters.

Offering pet food assistance programs help owners keep their pets rather than giving them
up due to an inability to feed them. This reduces the number of pets entering shelters,

many of which are already overcrowded and underfunded.
